Our trip to Oahu in December, 2009. We didn't plan to go back to Hawaii so soon (although
I'm not complaining), but it just worked out. My brother got the hotel for us with all of his
frequent flier miles and I used my remaining miles on Northwest from my work traveling days.
It was a cheap trip, but I made up for all of that and then some with an engagement ring!
Steph didn't realize it, but everyone else knew that was also why we were going on the trip.
This picture is from a top of the light house trail at Mokapu a few minutes after I proposed.
It was a longer hike than we thought, but I think it was worth it.
