So, I finally took the plunge and bought a new digital SLR camera a few weeks ago. I researched them forever, as I do with many things, and ended up going with a Canon T1i Rebel but with a Sigma 18-250mm lens. I was a little apprehensive and a little intimidated by the whole thing since I never had an SLR before. I really didn't know much about photography, but I did some reading and I've been happy with it so far.
Here are some samples from the first day I got it.
I think they turned out pretty good for not knowing how to use it yet. I also took more pictures of our dog and around San Diego and I think they're getting a little better. The funny thing is, I hate carrying around cameras but I really wanted to learn how to use SLRs. I guess it's like creating a blog even though I hate writing. Hopefully I'll have a lot more posts here if continue to do both somehow.
