This is a site I created for my old college fraternity. It was an Asian fraternity
that was "open", so you could attend any school. We had guys like me from USC, my
roomates from UCLA (I know), and from up in the valley in Northridge to down in Orange County in Irvine.
It was great in that I got to meet people from all over instead of a one particular place. And to this day,
most of my friends in Southern California are old friends from the fraternity.
I made it using a social networking
service, Ning.
It makes it really easy to create full social networking sites by just dragging and dropping content widgets.
It currently supports user profile pages, blogs, groups, etc. and works very much like
any other social networking site.
However, I do have it set to be a private site so it requires
a login to see anything after the first page.
